Information You Enter
Search Terms
When you type a name, location, or related detail into a search tool, that request is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Stratford Inmate Population does not keep its own stored log of those search terms.
Messages
If you send an email or other direct message about the site, we use the information in that message to review and answer it. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.

Outside Links and Public Records
This site links to official sources such as Stratford Police, CT DOC inmate information, Connecticut Judicial Branch case lookup, federal locators, and third-party search services. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy and data practices of the destination site control.
Connecticut public-record access is governed by Connecticut Freedom of Information Act provisions, including Conn. Gen. Stat. Sec. 1-210 and Sec. 1-212, when you request records from a public agency. Those open-record rules apply to the agency holding the record, not to this private site.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites for ad measurement or interest-based advertising.
